Larry Norton

Larry Norton of Buttermilk Trace, Nashville , TennesseeLarry loves design, technology and helping people getting things done. He is a recovering Certified Public Accountant who decided in midlife what he really wanted was an art degree. After preparing financial statements and tax returns for over thirty years, he discovered that there is a gradual change in both the climate and sunlight between January 1 to April 15. Previously, he believed that sun light, compared to January 1, abruptly increased on April 16. His BFA is from Columbia College Chicago.

Earlier, with skills learned from a business degree at Western Michigan University, Larry was able to write such engaging and witty titles as Year to Date Purchase Price Variance and Break-Even Analysis, and Monthly Oil Production/Drilling Report: Report to Partners. These titles were written for employers that include Abbot Laboratories, Schering Plough and John Henry Petroleum.

In addition to Buttermilk Trace, he also is founder and principal of Flashmind, Inc., a digital marketing firm in Nashville that conceives and creates interactive solutions. Memberships include American Advertising Federation Nashville, prior president of AIGA Nashville and VP Membership, Nashville American Marketing Association.
